Barnyard Productions is a media company founded by Oscar Gilbert in Northwest Colorado. Today, I’m geared for indoor and outdoor environments for products, atmospheric and action photography or video. From desert heat and monsoons to the mountains’ winter blizzards, no conditions are too extreme for quality production. I bring a strong work ethic, solution orientation and customer centeredness to my work.

Two important factors contributed to the seedling that has become Barnyard Productions; a childhood spent devouring Greek and Nordic mythology and borrowing gear from my family members who were hobby photographers.  This led straight to the highschool theater program and working behind the curtain on the production team. I was hooked on what goes into making team based art and commercial work.

After an introduction to videography and commercial photography, I attended Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. After earning a degree in Film & Photography, I returned to my hometown spending winters shooting in a complex and fast paced environment for a backcountry ski company. A typical day involved skiing and shooting for 5 hours, rushing back to the office and culling and editing 1,000+ images in time for an end of day delivery for the team and guests.
